শহীদ আরিফ হোসেন — ২০ জুলাই যাত্রাবাড়িতে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে শহীদ হন। তিনি ছিলেন একজন রিকশাচালক। সেদিন অন্তঃসত্ত্বা স্ত্রীকে চিকিৎসালয়ে নেওয়ার জন্য টাকার প্রয়োজন ছিলো বলে রিকশা নিয়ে বের হয়েছিলেন। কিন্তু বাড়ি আর ফেরা হয়নি। ২১ জুলাই তাঁকে মাতুয়াল কবরস্থানে দাফন করা হয়। তাঁর শহীদের রক্ত শুকানোর আগেই, মৃত্যুর মাত্র ২৮ দিন পর স্ত্রী একটি পুত্রসন্তানের জন্ম দেন। আজ তাঁর স্ত্রী, সন্তান ও অসুস্থ মা দারিদ্র্য আর অভাবের মধ্যে দিন কাটাচ্ছেন। আরিফের ত্যাগ শুধু পরিবারের জন্য নয়, গোটা জাতির জন্য এক অবিনাশী প্রেরণা হয়ে থাকবে।

Shaheed Arif Hossain — On July 20, he was shot dead in Jatrabari. A rickshaw puller by profession, he went out that day only to earn money needed for his pregnant wife’s treatment. But he never returned home. On July 21, he was laid to rest at Matuail graveyard. Just 28 days after his martyrdom, his wife gave birth to a baby boy. Today, his wife, newborn son, and ailing mother live in deep hardship. Arif’s sacrifice was not only for his family but stands as an eternal inspiration for an entire nation.

শহীদ আল-আমিন — ৫ আগস্ট আশুলিয়া থেকে মিছিলে অংশ নিতে বাইপেলে যাওয়ার পথে মাথায় গুলি লাগে এবং সেখানেই শহীদ হন। দীর্ঘ ১৩ দিন পর তাঁর বাবা সোহরাওয়ার্দী হাসপাতাল থেকে লাশ উদ্ধার করেন এবং গ্রামের বাড়ির কবরস্থানে দাফন করেন। মাত্র ৫ মাস আগে সৌদি আরব থেকে পড়াশোনা শেষ করে দেশে ফিরেছিলেন তিনি, স্বপ্ন ছিল নিজের মাটিতে নতুন জীবন গড়ার। কিন্তু সেই স্বপ্ন রক্তে ভেসে গেল। আল-আমিনের আত্মত্যাগ আজ অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের সংগ্রামের এক অবিনাশী প্রতীক।

Shaheed Al-Amin — On August 5, while joining a procession from Ashulia toward Bypail, he was shot in the head and embraced martyrdom. After 13 days, his father recovered his body from Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital and buried him in their village graveyard. Only five months ago, he had returned from Saudi Arabia after completing his studies, carrying the dream of building a new life in his own land. That dream was cut short in blood. Al-Amin’s sacrifice stands today as an eternal symbol of our fight against injustice.

He left behind his wife, Mosha Bilkis Banu, and a little daughter, whose future now hangs in uncertainty. His sacrifice is not just a family’s loss but a national tragedy. Al-Mamun’s blood-soaked sacrifice reminds us that every martyr is a shining symbol of resistance, justice, and the promise of a new Bangladesh.

July’s brave martyr Ziaur Rahman—beloved husband of Sahanaj Akter, pride of Biral Munshipara. Shot by police at Uttara Purba Thana, he later embraced martyrdom at Dhaka Medical. In a moment, a family was shattered, dreams were reduced to ashes. But his sacrifice is not only a family’s grief—it strengthens the struggle of us all. We pledge—no martyr’s blood will go in vain. জুলাই বীর শহীদ সাগর রহমান—শৈশব থেকে নানির আঁচলে মানুষ, আজ সেই নানির বুক ফেটে যায় বিশ্বাস করতে গিয়ে যে সাগর আর নেই। ৫ আগস্ট পুলিশের নৃশংস গুলিতে শহীদ সাগরের জীবন থেমে যায়। মায়ের মানসিক ভারসাম্য ভেঙে গেছে, পরিবার আজ দুঃখে পাগলপ্রায়। যে সন্তানের জন্য এক মা আর এক নানি সারাটি জীবন লড়েছেন, সেই সন্তানকে অন্যায়ভাবে ছিনিয়ে নেওয়া হয়েছে। এই শূন্যতার আর্তনাদ শুধু এক পরিবারের নয়—এটা পুরো জাতির বুক বিদীর্ণ করে। আমরা শপথ নিই—রক্তের দামে অর্জিত এই দেশ আর কখনো স্বৈরাচারের হাতে সঁপে দেব না। যেন আর কোনো মায়ের বুক খালি না হয়, কোনো নানি তাঁর স্নেহের সন্তান হারিয়ে দুঃখে ভেঙে না পড়েন। শহীদদের ত্যাগ আমাদের শিরায় শিরায় প্রবাহিত আগুন হয়ে থাকবে—তাদের সম্মানের শপথে, তাদের রক্তের দায়ে আমরা স্বাধীনতাকে আগলে রাখব চিরকাল।

Shaheed Sagor Rahman—raised in his grandmother’s arms since childhood. Today, that very grandmother breaks down, unable to believe that Sagor is no more. On 5th August, his life was cut short by the brutal bullets of the police. His mother has lost her mental balance, the family is devastated, drowning in unbearable grief. The child for whom a mother and a grandmother gave their entire lives was unjustly snatched away. This cry of emptiness is not only one family’s sorrow—it pierces through the heart of an entire nation. We take an oath—this country, earned with the price of blood, will never again be handed over to tyranny. No mother’s heart should be emptied again, no grandmother should ever collapse in grief after losing her beloved grandchild. The sacrifices of the martyrs will burn like fire in our veins. In their honor, in the debt of their blood, we shall protect this freedom forever.

৫ আগস্ট ২০২৪ এই দিনে বাংলাদেশ ছিন্ন করেছে স্বৈরশাসনের শেকল, দাঁড়িয়েছে এক নতুন ভোরের দোরগোড়ায়। এটি ছিল মুক্তির উচ্ছ্বাসে ভরা এক মুহূর্ত, কিন্তু একই সঙ্গে বুকে জমা ছিল গভীর শোক। স্বাধীনতার এই অর্জনের পেছনে রয়েছে অসংখ্য শহীদের প্রাণ, আহত যোদ্ধাদের অগণিত ক্ষত, এবং ত্যাগের এক অমূল্য ইতিহাস। তরুণ থেকে প্রবীণ—সবাই লড়েছিলেন মাতৃভূমির স্বাধীনতার জন্য, হাতে ছিল না কিছু, ছিল শুধু দেশপ্রেম আর অবিচল সাহস। জুলাই মাসের রক্তক্ষয়ী লড়াইয়ের শহীদ ও আহত যোদ্ধাদের স্মরণে দেশজুড়ে আয়োজন হয় সম্মাননা অনুষ্ঠান। উপস্থিত ছিলেন শহীদ পরিবারের সদস্যরা, আহত জুলাই যোদ্ধারা, তিনজন মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা, সচিববৃন্দ, এবং জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনের প্রধান নির্বাহী জনাব কামাল আকবর। তাদের আত্মত্যাগ বাংলাদেশকে দিয়েছে নতুন শ্বাস, নতুন দিশা, এবং অদম্য অগ্রযাত্রার শক্তি। এই বিজয় কেবল ইতিহাসের পাতায় নয়—এটি বাংলাদেশের অদম্য চেতনার স্থায়ী প্রতীক। আমরা শোকাহত পরিবারের পাশে আছি, একইসঙ্গে গর্বিত, কারণ তাদের রক্তে লেখা হয়েছে আমাদের স্বাধীনতার ইতিহাস।

Behind this hard-won freedom lies the sacrifice of countless martyrs, the wounds of injured fighters, and a priceless history of courage. From the young to the old, all stood for the country’s freedom, armed with nothing but patriotism and unwavering determination. Across the nation, tribute ceremonies honored the martyrs and wounded warriors of the July struggle. Attendees included families of the fallen, injured July fighters, three honorable advisors, secretaries, and Mr. Kamal Akbar, Chief Executive of the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation. Their sacrifice gave Bangladesh new breath, a new direction, and the strength for unstoppable progress. This victory is not just a chapter in history—it is a permanent symbol of Bangladesh’s unbreakable spirit. We stand with the grieving families, proud that their loved ones’ blood has written the story of our freedom.

আঘাতে থেমে যায়নি ওরা—আজ থেকে BKSP-তে শুরু হলো জুলাই আন্দোলনে আহত ছাত্রদের ক্রীড়া প্রশিক্ষণ ক্যাম্প। আর্চারি, শুটিংসহ বিভিন্ন খেলায় চলছে নিবিড় প্রশিক্ষণ, লক্ষ্য একটাই—অলিম্পিক-প্যারালিম্পিক এবং বিভিন্ন আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিযোগিতায় লাল-সবুজের পতাকা ওড়ানো। এই ক্যাম্প আত্মবিশ্বাসের নতুন পাঠশালা, সাহসের নতুন মানচিত্র। ওরাই আগামী বাংলাদেশের প্রতিচ্ছবি।

They didn’t stop at pain—today marks the beginning of a new journey at BKSP, as july injured students join an intensive sports training camp. With focused training in archery, shooting, and more, their goal is clear: to raise the red and green flag in the Olympics, Paralympics, and international arenas. This camp is a new school of confidence, a new map of courage. They are the face of tomorrow’s Bangladesh.
