⚠️JSSF ANNOUNCEMENT⚠️ Families of the martyrs from the July-August Mass Uprising will receive cheques from the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation (JSSF) as a gesture of gratitude for their sacrifices. In collaboration with our 16000 helpline, support will be extended to those who confirmed and were verified. The event will be held in the presence of esteemed advisors: Noorjahan Begum (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare), Nahid Islam (Ministry of ICT), Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan (Youth & Sports Ministry), and Sharmeen Murshid (Ministry of Social Welfare). The government has announced a full waiver of salary and tuition fees for students injured in the July-August student uprising. This decision, announced on 29th October, spans all levels of education—from secondary schools to universities—covering both public and private institutions, including madrasas and technical schools. To benefit from the waiver, eligible students are required to submit a medical certificate to their institution’s head, who will promptly verify and process their applications. This support will continue throughout the students’ educational journey, ensuring they can pursue their studies free from financial burden. On Sunday, October 27th, 2024, representatives from the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation visited the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP Bangladesh). During their visit, medical intervention was provided to 32 patients currently admitted to the hospital. Five patients received support via bank cheque valued at 5 lakhs, while the remaining 27 patients received 27 lakhs via bKash.

He came to Bangladesh to see his son for the last time and couldn’t return to his workplace due to a shortage of money. A Chinese national emergency medical team arrived in Dhaka on September 22, 2024, to provide advanced treatment to those seriously injured people in the July-August mass uprising.
