১৯ জুলাই ২০২৪ — শিক্ষার্থীদের আহ্বানে দেশজুড়ে পূর্ণ কর্মবিরতি পালিত হয়। কিন্তু ফ্যাসিবাদী সরকার সেই আন্দোলন দমাতে চেয়েছিল—ইন্টারনেট বন্ধ করে, তথ্যপ্রবাহ ছিন্ন করে, প্রতিবাদকে স্তব্ধ করে দিতে। কিন্তু শিক্ষার্থীরা দমে যায়নি, থেমে যায়নি। তারা রাস্তায় থেকেছে, তারা ন্যায়বিচারের দাবিতে সোচ্চার থেকেছে। ফ্যাসিবাদ এক সময় হায়েনায় পরিণত হয়—নিরপরাধ প্রাণ কেড়ে নিয়ে তারা প্রমাণ করেছে তারা কতটা হিংস্র। তবু আন্দোলন থেমে যায়নি। শহীদের রক্তের ওপর দাঁড়িয়ে প্রতিরোধ জারি ছিল, আছে, থাকবে। এই লড়াই অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে, এই লড়াই সত্য ও ন্যায়ের পক্ষে।
19 July 2024 — A nationwide shutdown was called by students, echoing the voice of justice and defiance. In response, the fascist regime tried to crush the uprising—shutting down the internet, silencing communication, and choking the truth. But the students did not falter. They stood their ground, continued protesting, and refused to back down. The regime turned into hyenas—mercilessly killing innocent protestors, exposing their heartlessness. Yet, the movement lived on. Fueled by sacrifice, driven by truth, nothing could stop them. This is a fight for justice. This is a fight against tyranny.

১৮ জুলাই ২০২৪ — এই দিনটি বাঙালির গণতান্ত্রিক ইতিহাসে রক্তাক্ত এক অধ্যায়। এই দিনে দেশের তরুণ-যুবা, ছাত্র, শ্রমজীবী মানুষ রাষ্ট্রীয় নিপীড়নের বিরুদ্ধে রাস্তায় নেমে এসেছিল অন্যায়ের প্রতিবাদে, ন্যায়ের পক্ষে। সেই আন্দোলনে যারা শহীদ হয়েছেন, তাঁদের আত্মত্যাগ কেবল একটি দিনে সীমাবদ্ধ নয়—তাঁরা আমাদের সংগ্রামের অনন্ত প্রেরণা। এই তালিকায় থাকা প্রতিটি নাম একটি করে গল্প, একটি করে স্বপ্ন, একটি করে সাহসী হৃদয়ের প্রতিচ্ছবি। আমরা তাঁদের গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসায় স্মরণ করছি। ইতিহাস তাঁদের ভুলবে না, আমরা ভুলবো না। তাঁদের আত্মত্যাগ যেন বৃথা না যায়—এই হোক আমাদের অঙ্গীকার।
18 July 2024 — This day marks a bloodstained chapter in the democratic history of Bengal. On this day, the youth, students, and working people of the country took to the streets against state oppression — standing for justice, against injustice. Those who became martyrs in that movement did not sacrifice their lives for just a single day — they remain an eternal inspiration for our struggle. Every name on this list holds a story, a dream, and the reflection of a courageous heart. We remember them with deep respect and love. History will not forget them, nor will we. Let their sacrifice not go in vain — let that be our solemn promise.

প্রতীকী ম্যারাথন ২০২৫ অনুষ্ঠিত 🇧🇩
আজ চীন-বাংলাদেশ ইন্টারন্যাশনাল কনফারেন্স সেন্টারে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো এক অনন্য প্রতীকী ম্যারাথন, আয়োজনে ছিল যুব ও ক্রীড়া মন্ত্রণালয় এবং জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশন।
উদ্বোধনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন:

• উপদেষ্টা আসিফ মাহমুদ সাজিব ভূঁইয়া
• সচিব মাহবুব উল আলম
• অতিরিক্ত সচিব মো. ইকবাল হোসেন
• যুগ্ম সচিব ড. শেখ মো. জোবায়েদ হোসেন
  উপস্থিতি ছিলেন:
  কামাল আকবর, প্রধান নির্বাহী, জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশন।
  এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন ফাউন্ডেশনের অন্যান্য সম্মানিত কর্মকর্তাবৃন্দ।
  এই প্রতীকী ম্যারাথনের মাধ্যমে স্মরণ করা হলো ২০২৪ এর জুলাইয়ের গৌরবময় আন্দোলনে জুলাই যোদ্ধা ও শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগ। নতুন প্রজন্মের মাঝে দেশপ্রেম, ঐতিহ্য ও প্রতিরোধের বার্তা পৌঁছে দিতে এটি ছিল এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপ।

১৭ জুলাই ২০২৪ তারিখে গণঅভ্যুত্থানের সময়, আন্দোলনে নিহতদের স্মরণে গায়েবানা জানাজা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সবাই একত্রিত হয়ে শহীদদের আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনায় দোয়া করেন। এই প্রতীকী জানাজা ছিল শোক, প্রতিবাদ ও সংহতির এক দৃপ্ত প্রকাশ। যাঁরা ন্যায় ও মুক্তির জন্য প্রাণ দিয়েছেন, তাঁদের আত্মত্যাগ জাতির ইতিহাসে চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবে।
On 17 July 2024, during the mass uprising, a Gayebana Janaza (funeral prayer in absentia) was held in memory of those who were killed in the protest. People gathered together to pray for the forgiveness and peace of the martyrs’ souls. This symbolic Janaza was a powerful expression of grief, protest, and solidarity. Those who gave their lives for justice and freedom will forever be remembered in the nation’s history.

আগামীকাল ১৮ জুলাই, শুক্রবার জুলাই গণ-অভ্যুত্থানের স্মরণে ‘বেসরকারি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রতিরোধ দিবস’ পালিত হবে। রাজধানীর হাতিরঝিলে এ দিনের কর্মসূচিতে চারটি চলচ্চিত্র প্রদর্শনী, জুলাইয়ের গান ও ড্রোন শো থাকছে।
Tomorrow, July 18, Friday, the ‘Private University Resistance Day’ will be observed in remembrance of the July Mass Uprising. At Hatirjheel in the capital, the day’s program will include four film screenings, July-themed songs, and a drone show.

ন্যায়ের পক্ষে দাঁড়াতে অস্ত্র লাগে না, লাগে সাহস ও দৃঢ় সংকল্প।

তাদের রক্তে রচিত হয়েছে জনগণের অধিকার ফিরে পাওয়ার পথ।

17 July 2024 — another blood-soaked chapter of resistance.

On this day, two fearless souls — Shaheed Siam and Shaheed Jashim — were martyred in the people’s movement against dictatorship.

They stood with nothing but courage in their hearts and justice in their cause.

Their sacrifice has carved the road toward freedom.

They are not just martyrs — they are the symbols of our resistance, our inspiration, our path forward.

16 July 2024 — a bloodstained day in history.
On this day, four brave souls — Abu Saeed, Wasim, Faruk, and Shanto — were martyred in the people’s uprising against dictatorship in Bangladesh.
Their blood has written a new chapter of liberation.
Their sacrifice has taken us one step closer to victory.
They are our courage, our strength, our guiding light.

তাঁরা রাস্তা রুদ্ধ করেছেন, ভেঙেছেন বাধা — জ্বালিয়েছেন প্রতিরোধের আগুন।

July Women’s Day | Honoring the Frontliners of the Uprising
In the July–August Uprising of 2024, it was the women who stood at the frontlines — fearless, unyielding, and unstoppable.
They blocked roads, broke barriers — and lit the fire of resistance across the nation.
This July 14, we remember, we honor, we rise — with them, for them.
Their roar still echoes. And it’s not over yet.
