শহীদ মিজানুর রহমানের মাকে বাসাভাড়ার জন্য ২০,০০০ টাকা, শহীদ আশিকুর রহমান হৃদয়ের পরিবারকে ২৫,০০০ টাকা, আহত যোদ্ধা মোঃ হৃদয় খানকে পিজি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করাতে ২৫,০০০ টাকা সহায়তা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
এছাড়াও আরও দুইজন আহত যোদ্ধাকে ২৫,০০০ টাকা করে সহায়তা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
ধন্যবাদ Better Bangladesh-কে, যারা জুলাইয়ের আত্মত্যাগ ও চেতনা ধারণ করে আহত ও শহীদদের পরিবারের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছে।
মানবতার এই পাশে দাঁড়ানোই হলো প্রকৃত পরিবর্তনের সূচনা। আসুন, আমরা একসাথে এগিয়ে যাই একটি ভালো বাংলাদেশের পথে।
Unity, empathy, and responsibility—this is the enduring lesson of the July Uprising. Inspired by that spirit, Better Bangladesh stands with the families of martyrs and the injured.
BDT 20,000 was given to the mother of Shaheed Mizanur Rahman for house rent, BDT 25,000 to the family of Shaheed Ashikur Rahman Hridoy, and BDT 25,000 to injured fighter Md Hridoy Khan for hospital admission.
Additionally, two more injured fighters received BDT 25,000 each in support.
Our heartfelt thanks to Better Bangladesh for honoring the July spirit by standing beside our martyrs and wounded fighters.

একুশে পদকের অর্থ শহীদদের নামে উৎসর্গ
‘আমার দেশ’ সম্পাদক মাহমুদুর রহমান একুশে পদক থেকে প্রাপ্ত সম্মাননার সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ উৎসর্গ করেছেন জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনকে। সোমবার রাজধানীর শাহবাগে ফাউন্ডেশনের কার্যালয়ে আয়োজিত এক অনুষ্ঠানে তিনি আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে এই চেক হস্তান্তর করেন, চেকটি গ্রহণ করেন ফাউন্ডেশনের সিইও কামাল আকবর। মাহমুদুর রহমান বলেন, “জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের বীর শহীদরা আমাদের গৌরব। তাদের আত্মত্যাগের কারণেই আমরা ফ্যাসিবাদের কবল থেকে মুক্তি পেয়েছি।” তিনি আহতদের চিকিৎসা ও পুনর্বাসনের পাশাপাশি শহীদ পরিবারগুলোকে সর্বোচ্চ সহযোগিতার আহ্বান জানান। আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাই মাহমুদুর রহমানকে—জুলাই শহীদদের পাশে দাঁড়ানো এবং জুলাই চেতনাকে হৃদয়ে ধারণ করে একুশের মর্যাদাকে সঠিক জায়গায় পৌঁছে দেওয়ার জন্য।
Donation of Ekushey Padak honorarium in the name of the martyrs.
Editor of Amar Desh, Mahmudur Rahman, has donated the full amount of his Ekushey Padak honorarium to the July Shaheed Memorial Foundation. In a ceremony held Monday at the foundation’s office in Shahbagh, Dhaka, he officially handed over the cheque, which was received by the foundation’s CEO, Kamal Akbar. Mahmudur Rahman stated, “The brave martyrs of the July uprising are our pride. It is through their sacrifice that we have been freed from the grip of brutal fascism.” He also called for maximum support in the treatment and rehabilitation of the injured and in standing beside the families of the fallen. We express our deepest respect and gratitude to Mahmudur Rahman—for standing with the July martyrs and for honoring the spirit of July through this meaningful gesture.

আজ থেকে শুরু হলো এইচএসসি ২০২৫ পরীক্ষা।
কিন্তু আজকের এই দিন আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয় সেই সব শহীদ ছাত্রদের, যারা জুলাই আন্দোলনে আত্মত্যাগ করেছিলেন। তাঁদের অনেকেই এই পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করার কথা ছিল। বেঁচে থাকলে আজ তারাও হয়তো পরীক্ষাকক্ষে বসে ভবিষ্যতের স্বপ্ন গড়ার পথে এগিয়ে যেতেন।
তাদের অকালপ্রয়াণ শুধু এক ব্যক্তির গল্প নয়—তা একটি প্রজন্মের স্বপ্ন, সম্ভাবনা ও সাহসের নিঃশব্দ বিসর্জন।
তাদের এই আত্মত্যাগ ইতিহাসে চিরভাসমান থাকবে—অনন্ত শ্রদ্ধা আর বিষণ্ন ভালোবাসায়।
শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি আমাদের হারিয়ে যাওয়া সহযাত্রীদের প্রতি।

The HSC 2025 examination begins today.
But this day also serves as a solemn reminder of the student martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the July Movement. Many of them were supposed to sit for this very exam. Had they lived, they too might have been in the exam halls today—taking steps toward building their dreams.
Their untimely departure is not just the loss of individuals—it is the silent sacrifice of a generation’s dreams, potential, and courage.
Their sacrifice will remain eternally etched in history—honored with deepest respect and enduring sorrow.

In solemn remembrance of the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising, and with the vision of giving lasting form to centuries of people’s resistance, struggle, sacrifice, and the spirit of freedom on this land, the “Gonominar” is being built in the capital. With the active participation of university teachers and students, cultural figures, journalists, and citizens from all walks of life, this will emerge as an inclusive and united civic initiative—where political divisions will give way to a collective dream, historical consciousness, and a deep sense of responsibility toward the future. Through the language of architecture and art, it will carry forward a powerful message of resistance, democracy, and human dignity from generation to generation.
