“আমার ছেলেরে মিরপুর ১৪ তে গুলি কইরা মারে, দুইটা গুলি করছে। যেই ছেলে আমার সাথে ঢাকা আসছে, তারেও জেলে ভইরা রাখছিল ১৩ দিন। হাসপাতালে নেওয়া হলে আমরা দেখতে যাব বলে বের হই, কিন্তু রাস্তায় পুলিশ আমাদের পথ আটকে দেয়। কোনো রকম হাসপাতালে গিয়ে দেখি—সে আর বেঁচে নাই।”

“১৯শে জুলাই শুক্রবার তিনি বোনের বাসায় খেতে যাওয়ার সময় পুলিশের গুলিতে আহত হন। ঢাকা মেডিকেলে নেওয়া হলে তিনি শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেন। ১৬ বছর আমরা একসাথে ছিলাম—এত স্মৃতি ভুলে আমি কিভাবে বাঁচব? আমার ছেলে কিভাবে তার বাবাকে ছাড়া বড় হবে?”

“৫ই আগস্ট বিজয় মিছিলে যাওয়ার পর জাবির হোটেলে আগুন দিলে আমার ছেলে সেখানে ছুটে যায় বাচ্চাদের বাঁচাতে। তিনজন বাচ্চাকে জীবিত বের করতে পারলেও চতুর্থবার আর ফিরতে পারেনি—আগুনের ভেতরেই আটকা পড়ে যায়। সে আমাকে ফোনে জানায়, কিন্তু আমি কিছুই করতে পারিনি। আমরা ছুটে যাই ঘটনাস্থলে, কিন্তু কাউকে ভেতরে ঢুকতে দেওয়া হয়নি। পাগলের মতো সারাদিন রাত দৌঁড়েছি—অবশেষে রাত ৪টায় আমার ছেলের নিথর দেহ তারা বাইরে আনে।”

“After joining the Victory Rally on August 5, my son rushed to Jabir Hotel when it caught fire to rescue the trapped children. He managed to save three kids, but on his fourth attempt, he couldn’t make it out—he was trapped in the flames. He called me to tell what happened, but I couldn’t do anything. We ran to the spot, but no one was allowed inside. Like a madwoman, I searched the whole day and night. Finally, around 4 a.m., they brought out my son’s lifeless body.”

জুলাই বীরদের পাশে বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড (বিসিবি)

বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড (বিসিবি) বাংলাদেশ বনাম পাকিস্তান ম্যাচের টিকিট বিক্রির অর্থের একটি অংশ জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনে দান করেছে জুলাই–আগস্ট গণআন্দোলনের বীরদের সহায়তায়।তাঁদের সাহস, ত্যাগ ও সংগ্রামের মধ্য দিয়েই জাতি ন্যায়, স্বাধীনতা ও গণতান্ত্রিক চেতনায় উজ্জীবিত হয়েছে।
জুলাইকে বুকে ধারণ করে, বিসিবি শুধু দেশের গৌরবময় ইতিহাসের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেনি, বরং মানবতা, সহমর্মিতা ও জাতীয় সংহতির এক উজ্জ্বল দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করেছে।আমরা দৃঢ়ভাবে বিশ্বাস করি — ত্যাগ, ঐক্য ও দেশপ্রেমের চেতনায় উজ্জীবিত হয়ে, আমরা সব বাধা অতিক্রম করতে পারি এবং আমাদের স্বপ্নের বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তুলতে সক্ষম হবো —যেখানে ন্যায়, সমতা ও অগ্রগতি সবার জন্য নিশ্চিত হবে।
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has donated a part of proceeds from ticket sales of the Bangladesh vs Pakistan match to the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation, in support of the heroes of the July–August mass movement.
It is through their courage, sacrifice, and struggle that the nation has been inspired with the spirit of justice, freedom, and democracy.By holding July close to its heart, the BCB has not only paid tribute to the glorious history of the nation but has also set a shining example of humanity, compassion, and national solidarity.
We firmly believe that — inspired by the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and patriotism — we can overcome all obstacles and build the Bangladesh of our dreams,where justice, equality, and progress are ensured for all.

দেশপ্রেমের কোনো বয়স নেই

স্বপ্নের বাংলাদেশ গড়ার প্রত্যয়ে, জুলাই যোদ্ধা এবং শহীদের যে আত্মত্যাগ ছিলো সেই স্বপ্ন বুকে নিয়ে জুলাই–আগস্ট গণঅভ্যুত্থানকে হৃদয়ে ধারণ করে শিক্ষার্থীরা দেখিয়েছে এক অসাধারণ মানবিক উদাহরণ। মোহাম্মদপুর প্রিপারেটরি স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজের ১৩ জন শিক্ষার্থী – তাকওয়া বিনতে আলম রিমিল, মাদিহা মাইমুনা, জায়মা নূর, আফরিন আহমেদ, শারমিন নিশাত, সুনায়রা হক, সাইয়ানা জামান, রাইদা হোসেন চৌধুরী, কানিজ ফাতেমা, উমায়জা খাররম ও মাইমুনা জান্নাত মিলে তাদের ইদের সালামি, টিফিনের জমানো টাকা একত্র করে তা জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনের মাধ্যমে জুলাই–আগস্ট গণঅভ্যুত্থানে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত শহীদ পরিবার ও আহত যোদ্ধাদের সহায়তায় দান করেছে। এই ছোট্ট উদ্যোগ প্রমাণ করে—দেশপ্রেমের কোনো বয়স নেই। শিশুদের হৃদয়ের এই ভালোবাসা, সহমর্মিতা ও দায়িত্ববোধই এক নতুন বাংলাদেশের স্বপ্নকে জাগিয়ে রাখে। তারা শিখিয়ে দিয়েছে, “জুলাই বীরদের পাশে দাঁড়ানো মানে মানবতার পাশে দাঁড়ানো।
With the dream of building a just and prosperous Bangladesh, and carrying the spirit of sacrifice shown by the July warriors and martyrs, the students have set a remarkable example of humanity and compassion. Thirteen students of Mohammadpur Preparatory School and College Taqwa Bintey Alam Rimil, Madiha Maymuna, Zaima Noor, Afreen Ahmed, Sharmin Nishat, Sunairza Huq, Saiyana Zaman, Raida Hossain Chowdhury, Kaniz Fatema, Umaiza Kharrom, and Mymuna Jannat came together to donate their Eid salami, tiffin savings, and pocket money through the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation, to support the families of martyrs and injured warriors affected by the July–August Uprising. This small but powerful act proves that patriotism has no age. The love, empathy, and sense of responsibility in these young hearts keep alive the dream of a new Bangladesh. They have taught us that standing with the July heroes means standing with humanity.

“ছাত্র আন্দোলনের সময় আমার ছেলে সকাল ৯টায় বের হয়ে যায়। বিকেল ৫টার সময় ডাক্তারের কল পেয়ে জানতে পারি আমার ছেলে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছে। সোহরাওয়ার্দী হাসপাতালে সঠিক চিকিৎসার অভাবে আমার ছেলে মারা যায়।”

জুলাই-আগস্ট গণঅভ্যুত্থানে হিন্দু ধর্মাবলম্বী শহীদ পরিবার ও আহত যোদ্ধাদের জানাই আন্তরিক শারদীয় শুভেচ্ছা।


আজ আমাদের অনেক শহীদ ভাই ও শহীদ বোন আর বেঁচে নেই, কিন্তু তাদের পরিবার বেদনা বুকে নিয়ে বেঁচে আছেন। তাদের ত্যাগ এই মাটিকে করেছে আরও শক্তিশালী, আর আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়—বাংলাদেশ কোনো ধর্ম-বর্ণের বিভাজনে নয়, বরং ঐক্যের শক্তিতে গড়া একটি দেশ। শহীদদের আত্মা শান্তিতে থাকুক, আর আহতরা ফিরে পাক জীবনের স্বপ্ন।

On this Sharodiya festival, we extend our heartfelt greetings to the Hindu martyr families and injured fighters of the July–August Uprising.
Many of our brothers and sisters are no longer with us, yet their families continue to live with the pain of loss. Their sacrifice has made this land stronger, reminding us that Bangladesh was not built on divisions of faith or community—but on the spirit of unity and courage. May the martyrs rest in peace, and may the injured reclaim their dreams of life.

বই বিক্রির অর্থ জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনে দান

জুলাই–আগস্ট গণঅভ্যুত্থানের চেতনাকে হৃদয়ে ধারণ করে লেখক এস এম ইমরানুল ইসলাম রাজন তার বই বিক্রির অর্থ জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনে দান করেছেন। নিজের শ্রম আর সৃজনশীলতার উপার্জন শহীদ ও আহত যোদ্ধাদের পুনর্বাসনের জন্য উৎসর্গ করে তিনি প্রমাণ করেছেন—জুলাই বীরদের পাশে দাঁড়ানো শুধু দায়িত্ব নয়, এটি আমাদের সবার কর্তব্য। তিনি আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন, “শুধু স্মৃতিচারণ নয়, আমরা যেন সকলে মিলে শহীদদের অসমাপ্ত স্বপ্ন পূরণে অংশ নেই।” আমরা সবাই জুলাইয়ের পাশে দাঁড়াই — ন্যায়ের, গণতন্ত্রের এবং স্বাধীনতার পথে।
Carrying the spirit of the July–August Uprising in his heart, writer S. M. Imranul Islam Rajon has donated the earnings from his book sales to the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation. By dedicating the fruits of his labor and creativity to the rehabilitation of martyrs’ families and injured fighters, he has shown that standing beside the July heroes is not just a responsibility — it is a duty for all of us. He urged: “Let us not only remember them, but together fulfill the unfinished dreams of the martyrs.” Let us all stand with July — for justice, for democracy, and for freedom.
