আজ, ০৭-০৭-২৫ তারিখে জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনের পক্ষ থেকে SME ফাউন্ডেশনের নেতৃবৃন্দের সঙ্গে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। বৈঠকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন SME Foundation এর চেয়ারপারসন জনাব মোঃ মুশফিকুর রহমান, ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক জনাব আনোয়ার হোসেন চৌধুরী, উপ-ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক জনাব মোঃ নাজিম হাসান সাত্তার এবং অন্যান্য সম্মানিত সদস্যরা।
বৈঠকের মূল বিষয় ছিল আহত জুলাই যোদ্ধা ও শহীদ পরিবারের সদস্যদের উদ্যোক্তা হিসেবে গড়ে তোলার জন্য সহায়তা প্রদান এবং তাদের ছোট ও মাঝারি ব্যবসা শুরু করতে উৎসাহিত করা। SME ফাউন্ডেশন আন্তরিকভাবে এই উদ্যোগে আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেছে এবং সহযোগিতার আশ্বাস দিয়েছে। জুলাইয়ের আত্মত্যাগ ও চেতনা সম্মানের সাথে ধারণ করে SME ফাউন্ডেশনের এই উদার ও দূরদর্শী সিদ্ধান্তের জন্য আমরা আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করছি। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, এই যৌথ উদ্যোগ আমাদের ইতিহাসের প্রতি সম্মান জানিয়ে শহীদ পরিবারগুলোর জীবনে পরিবর্তন আনার পথে এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপ হবে।

On 07-07-25, July Shaheed Smrity Foundation held an important meeting with the respected leadership of SME Foundation.
Present at the meeting were SME Foundation Chairperson Mr. Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Managing Director Mr. Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Nazeem Hassan Satter, and other esteemed members of the organization.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to support injured July fighters and the family members of martyrs by helping them become entrepreneurs and start small or medium-sized businesses.
SME Foundation expressed strong interest in this initiative and gave their commitment to provide active support. We sincerely thank SME Foundation for their generous and forward-thinking decision, which truly reflects the spirit of July. We believe this joint effort will honor our national history and bring meaningful change to the lives of the families who have sacrificed so much for our country.

ঢাকার শাহবাগ থেকে চট্টগ্রাম, রাজশাহী, জাহাঙ্গীরনগর, সিলেট, দিনাজপুর—একসঙ্গে গর্জে উঠেছিল বাংলাদেশের ছাত্রসমাজ।
চার দফা দাবিতে ‘বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলন’-এর ডাকে শিক্ষার্থীরা অবরোধ করে রেখেছিল শহরের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মোড় ও রাস্তা।
শ্লোগান ছিল একটাই: “অযৌক্তিক কোটা বাতিল চাই!”
তৎকালীন ফ্যাসিস্ট প্রধানমন্ত্রীর বক্তব্য সরাসরি প্রত্যাখ্যান করে ছাত্ররা জানিয়ে দেয়—দাবি আদায় না হওয়া পর্যন্ত রাজপথ ছাড়ছি না। সন্ত্রাসী বাহিনীর হামলা, পুলিশের বৈঠক, আদালতের রায়—সব বাধা পেরিয়ে বাংলা দাঁড়িয়েছিল প্রতিবাদের প্রতীকে।
বাংলা ব্লকেড ২০২৪ — ফিরে দেখা ছাত্র আন্দোলনের ইতিহাসের এক দীপ্ত অধ্যায়।

July 7, 2024 — Bangla Blockade
From Shahbagh in Dhaka to Chittagong, Rajshahi, Jahangirnagar, Sylhet, and Dinajpur — students across Bangladesh rose in unison.
In response to the call of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, they blockaded key intersections and roads in cities nationwide with one clear demand: “Abolish the unjust quota system!”
Rejecting the statement of the then fascist Prime Minister, students declared — “We will not leave the streets until our demands are met.”
Despite violent attacks by armed groups, police negotiations, and court rulings — Bangla stood strong as a symbol of resistance.
Bangla Blockade 2024 — a blazing chapter in the history of student movements in Bangladesh.

৫ জুলাই ২০২৪ — ফ্যাসিস্ট সরকার ৩০% কোটা পুনর্বহাল করে। কিন্তু ছাত্রসমাজ মাথা নত করেনি। তারা দাঁড়িয়েছিল অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে। তারা দাঁড়িয়েছিল মেধা, সমতা ও দেশের ভবিষ্যতের পক্ষে। জন্ম নিয়েছিল এক বিপ্লব — অস্ত্র নয়, কণ্ঠস্বর, ঐক্য আর অটল সাহস দিয়ে।

5th July 2024 — The fascist regime reinstated the 30% quota. But the students refused to bow. They stood against injustice. They stood for equality, for merit, for the future of a nation. A revolution was born, not with weapons — but with voices, unity, and unshakable courage.

জুলাই ক্যালেন্ডার আমাদের জন্য শুধুই একটি মাসের দিনপঞ্জি নয়, এটি একটি আন্দোলনের, একটি বিপ্লবের, একটি জাতীয় চেতনার প্রতীক।
এই ক্যালেন্ডারের প্রতিটি দিন শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগ, তরুণ সমাজের সাহসিকতা এবং জাতির জাগরণের ইতিহাস বহন করে।
১৯৭১ সালের চেতনার পর, জুলাই মাসেই বাংলাদেশে নতুন করে শুরু হয়েছিল গণতন্ত্র ও অধিকার ফিরে পাওয়ার সংগ্রাম।
তরুণরা বুক পেতে দিয়েছিল,পাশাপাশি রাস্তায় নেমে এসেছিল অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়াতে।
জুলাই মাস তাই শুধুই গ্রীষ্মের একটি অধ্যায় নয়—এটি আমাদের আত্মপরিচয়ের, সামাজিক ন্যায় ও নতুন বাংলাদেশ গঠনের প্রতিশ্রুতির মাস।

The July calendar is not just a list of dates for us—it is a symbol of a movement, a revolution, and a national awakening.
Each day in this calendar carries the legacy of the martyrs’ sacrifice, the courage of the youth, and the story of a nation’s resurgence.
After the spirit of 1971, it was in the month of July that Bangladesh once again witnessed a struggle to reclaim democracy and rights.
The youth stood firm, taking to the streets against injustice with courage in their hearts.
Thus, July is not merely a chapter of summer—it is a month of identity, social justice, and a renewed promise to build a better Bangladesh.
The July Shaheed Smriti Foundation is committed to passing this glorious history on to future generations—

“জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি বৃত্তি” চালু করেছে জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, যা জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানে তরুণদের গৌরবোজ্জ্বল ভূমিকার স্বীকৃতিস্বরূপ প্রতিবছর প্রদান করা হবে। এই বৃত্তির আওতায় জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধিভুক্ত কলেজ ও ইনস্টিটিউটের স্নাতক ও স্নাতকোত্তর পর্যায়ের বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন, প্রান্তিক ও সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীদের এককালীন আর্থিক সহায়তা প্রদান করা হবে। এ বছর ৭২৫টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের ২,০৪০ জন শিক্ষার্থী এই বৃত্তির সুবিধা পাচ্ছেন। দেশের প্রায় সোয়া দুই হাজার কলেজ এবং ৪০ লাখ শিক্ষার্থীর অভিভাবক প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এ উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করেছে, যেখানে জুলাই অভ্যুত্থানে শহীদ ৩২ জন শিক্ষার্থীর প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানানো হয়েছে। বৃত্তি প্রদান অনুষ্ঠানে শিক্ষা উপদেষ্টা সিআর আবরার বলেন, “নতুন বাংলাদেশ গড়ার ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষার বিশাল ভূমিকা রয়েছে; সমাজে বৈষম্য দূরীকরণ ও সমতা আনয়নে শিক্ষার কোনো বিকল্প নেই।” তিনি আরও বলেন, “আমরা এমন একটি শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা গড়ে তুলতে বদ্ধপরিকর, যেখানে সকল স্তরের মানুষ জ্ঞান, ন্যায় ও নৈতিকতার চর্চায় অংশ নিতে পারে।”

The National University has launched the “Martyr July Memorial Scholarship” to honor the role of youth in the historic July Uprising. This annual scholarship offers one-time financial assistance to meritorious undergraduate and postgraduate students from affiliated colleges, especially those who are underprivileged, marginalized, or have special needs. In 2025, 2,040 students from 725 institutions will receive the award. Dedicated to the memory of 32 martyred students, the initiative reflects the university’s commitment to equity in education. At the award ceremony, Education Advisor C.R. Abrar said, “Education is vital to building a new Bangladesh. It is the key to ending inequality and promoting justice.” He emphasized creating an inclusive system rooted in knowledge, fairness, and moral values.

এছাড়াও আরও দুইজন আহত যোদ্ধাকে ২৫,০০০ টাকা করে সহায়তা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
ধন্যবাদ Better Bangladesh-কে, যারা জুলাইয়ের আত্মত্যাগ ও চেতনা ধারণ করে আহত ও শহীদদের পরিবারের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছে।
মানবতার এই পাশে দাঁড়ানোই হলো প্রকৃত পরিবর্তনের সূচনা। আসুন, আমরা একসাথে এগিয়ে যাই একটি ভালো বাংলাদেশের পথে।
Unity, empathy, and responsibility—this is the enduring lesson of the July Uprising. Inspired by that spirit, Better Bangladesh stands with the families of martyrs and the injured.
BDT 20,000 was given to the mother of Shaheed Mizanur Rahman for house rent, BDT 25,000 to the family of Shaheed Ashikur Rahman Hridoy, and BDT 25,000 to injured fighter Md Hridoy Khan for hospital admission.
Additionally, two more injured fighters received BDT 25,000 each in support.
Our heartfelt thanks to Better Bangladesh for honoring the July spirit by standing beside our martyrs and wounded fighters.
True change begins with compassion. Let us walk together toward a better, just Bangladesh.

একুশে পদকের অর্থ শহীদদের নামে উৎসর্গ
‘আমার দেশ’ সম্পাদক মাহমুদুর রহমান একুশে পদক থেকে প্রাপ্ত সম্মাননার সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ উৎসর্গ করেছেন জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনকে। সোমবার রাজধানীর শাহবাগে ফাউন্ডেশনের কার্যালয়ে আয়োজিত এক অনুষ্ঠানে তিনি আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে এই চেক হস্তান্তর করেন, চেকটি গ্রহণ করেন ফাউন্ডেশনের সিইও কামাল আকবর। মাহমুদুর রহমান বলেন, “জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের বীর শহীদরা আমাদের গৌরব। তাদের আত্মত্যাগের কারণেই আমরা ফ্যাসিবাদের কবল থেকে মুক্তি পেয়েছি।” তিনি আহতদের চিকিৎসা ও পুনর্বাসনের পাশাপাশি শহীদ পরিবারগুলোকে সর্বোচ্চ সহযোগিতার আহ্বান জানান। আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাই মাহমুদুর রহমানকে—জুলাই শহীদদের পাশে দাঁড়ানো এবং জুলাই চেতনাকে হৃদয়ে ধারণ করে একুশের মর্যাদাকে সঠিক জায়গায় পৌঁছে দেওয়ার জন্য।
Donation of Ekushey Padak honorarium in the name of the martyrs.
Editor of Amar Desh, Mahmudur Rahman, has donated the full amount of his Ekushey Padak honorarium to the July Shaheed Memorial Foundation. In a ceremony held Monday at the foundation’s office in Shahbagh, Dhaka, he officially handed over the cheque, which was received by the foundation’s CEO, Kamal Akbar. Mahmudur Rahman stated, “The brave martyrs of the July uprising are our pride. It is through their sacrifice that we have been freed from the grip of brutal fascism.” He also called for maximum support in the treatment and rehabilitation of the injured and in standing beside the families of the fallen. We express our deepest respect and gratitude to Mahmudur Rahman—for standing with the July martyrs and for honoring the spirit of July through this meaningful gesture.
