শহীদ মোঃ ইমতিয়াজ হোসেন—নোয়াখালী জেলার চাটখিলের এক সাহসী সন্তান। পিতা হাবিবুর রহমানের ছোট ছেলে ইমতিয়াজ আন্দোলনের শুরু থেকেই জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের সাথে যুক্ত ছিলেন। একটি চাকরি করতেন তিনি, পাশাপাশি লড়তেন ন্যায়ের পক্ষে। ৫ই আগস্ট বিজয় মিছিলে অংশ নিয়ে চাটখিল এলাকায় গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে শহীদ হন। ইমতিয়াজের আত্মত্যাগ আমাদের সংগ্রামে চিরকাল সাহস ও প্রেরণার উৎস হয়ে থাকবে।

Shaheed Md. Imtiaz Hossain—a brave son of Chatkhil, Noakhali district. The youngest son of Habibur Rahman, Imtiaz was involved in the July uprising movement from the very beginning. While working a job, he also stood firmly for justice. On August 5th, he was martyred after being shot during a victory rally in Chatkhil.
