শহীদ মোঃ ফারুক—এক সংগ্রামী জীবন, এক অমর আত্মত্যাগ। পরিবারের একমাত্র উপার্জনের উৎস ছিলেন তিনি, কাঠমিস্ত্রির কাজ করে স্ত্রী-সন্তানসহ পরিবার চালাতেন। দুই সন্তানের এই জনক ২৪-এর ফ্যাসিবাদবিরোধী আন্দোলনে পুলিশের গুলিতে শহীদ হন। তাঁর মৃত্যু শুধু একটি পরিবারকেই নিঃস্ব করেনি, বরং স্বৈরাচারের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের লড়াইকে আরো শক্তিশালী করেছে। ফারুকের মতো হাজারো শহীদের আত্মত্যাগই আজকের বাংলাদেশ। তাঁদের ত্যাগের ঋণ শোধ করা সম্ভব নয়, তবে আমরা তাঁদের স্বপ্নের বাংলাদেশ গড়তে প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ।

This father of two was martyred by police gunfire in the anti-fascist movement of ‘24. His death did not just leave a family devastated but also strengthened our fight against tyranny. The sacrifices of thousands of martyrs like Faruk have shaped today’s Bangladesh. Their debt can never be repaid, but we are committed to building the Bangladesh they dreamed of.
