শহীদ মিনারুল ইসলাম ছিলেন একজন গার্মেন্টস কর্মী, যিনি বৈষম্য বিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনে অংশ নিয়ে ২০ জুলাই নারায়ণগঞ্জের সিদ্ধিরগঞ্জে পুলিশের গুলিতে শহীদ হন। মিনারুল ইসলাম তার জীবনকে দেশের স্বাধীনতার জন্য উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন, কিন্তু দুর্ভাগ্যবশত তিনি তার সন্তানের মুখ দেখার আগেই শাহাদত বরণ করেন। তার আত্মত্যাগ দেশের স্বাধীনতার সংগ্রামে এক অবিচল অধ্যায় হিসেবে পরিগণিত হয়। মিনারুল ইসলামের আত্মবলিদান আজও আমাদের মাঝে বেঁচে থাকে, আমাদের স্বাধীনতার জন্য তার অবদান আমাদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয় এবং তার সাহসিকতা ও সংগ্রাম আমাদের অনুপ্রেরণা দেয়। তাঁর মতো হাজারো শহীদের আত্মত্যাগ আমাদের দেশের মুক্তির ইতিহাসে চিরকাল অমর থাকবে।

Martyr Minarul Islam was a garment worker who participated in the anti-discrimination student movement and became a martyr on July 20 in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj, after being shot by the police.
