জুলাই-আগস্ট গণঅভ্যুত্থান শুধু একটি প্রতিবাদ ছিল না—ছিল সাহসী ছাত্রসমাজের ঐক্যবদ্ধ এক রুখে দাঁড়ানোর ইতিহাস। এই টুর্নামেন্টের উদ্দেশ্য সেই ঐক্যের চেতনাকে আবারও জাগিয়ে তোলা—যেভাবে জুলাই-আগস্ট আন্দোলনে দেশের সকল পাবলিক ও প্রাইভেট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরা একসাথে দাঁড়িয়েছিল, ঠিক সেভাবেই আবার একত্রিত হবে তারা খেলাধুলার মঞ্চে।

This tournament aims to reunite students of all public and private universities—just as they stood together during the historic July–August movement. Through the spirit of sportsmanship, we rekindle the unity, strength, and courage of that uprising.
