জনাব কাজী ওয়াকার আহমদ, সিইও, গ্রামীণ ট্রাস্ট ও সদস্য সচিব, গভর্নিং বডি, জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশন এর শ্রদ্ধাভাজন পিতা স্বাধীন বাংলার প্রথম সেনাপ্রধান মেজর জেনারেল (সাবেক) জনাব কে. এম. সফিউল্লাহ (বীর উত্তম) আজ ২৬ জানুয়ারি ২০২৫ তারিখ সকাল ৮:১০ মিনিটে সিএমএইচ ঢাকায় চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় ইন্তেকাল করেছেন (ইন্নালিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন)।
জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশন পরিবারের পক্ষে আমরা মহান সৃষ্টিকর্তার নিকট মরহুমের বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফেরাত কামনা করছি এবং তার শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি সহমর্মিতা ও সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করছি। এই অপূরণীয় ক্ষতি ও শোক ধৈর্যের সাথে মোকাবেলার জন্যে মহান আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামীনের নিকট প্রার্থনা করছি। মহান সৃষ্টিকর্তা জনাব কে. এম. সফিউল্লাহ কে জান্নাতবাসী করুন। আমাদের সকলকে নিরাপদ ও সুস্থ্য রাখুন। আমীন।
Mr. Kazi Waker Ahmed, CEO of Grameen Trust and Secretary Member of the Governing Body of July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, lost his respected father, Major General (Retd.) K.M. Safiullah (Bir Uttam), the first Army Chief of independent Bangladesh, passed away on January 26, 2025, at 8:10 AM, while undergoing treatment at CMH, Dhaka (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Rajioon).
On behalf of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation family, we pray to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family. We pray to Allah, the Almighty, to grant the strength to bear this irreparable loss and sorrow with patience. May the Almighty bless Mr. K.M. Safiullah with a place in Jannah.
