সাব্বির আমার একমাত্র ছেলে ছিলো। সবেমাত্র সে নবম শ্রেণিতে পড়ছিলো, ৫ই আগস্ট আন্দোলনে যখন পুলিশ নির্বিচারে ছাত্র জনতার উপর গুলি চালায় তখন সেই গুলিতে সাব্বির শহীদ হয়। আমি সরকারের কাছে আমার ছেলে সহ সকল শহীদদের হত্যাকারীদের ফাঁসি চাই।

Sabbir was my only son. He had just started class nine. On August 5, when the police fired indiscriminately at the protesting students, Sabbir was martyred in that shooting. I demand that the government hand down the death penalty to all those who killed my son and the other martyrs.
