জুলাই কন্যা ফাউন্ডেশনের প্রতিনিধি জান্নাতুন নাঈম প্রমী এবং জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশনের সিইও জনাব কামাল আকবর এবং জি.এস. শামসী আরা এর সাথে একটি সৌজন্য সাক্ষাতে হয়। সাক্ষাৎকালে জুলাই আন্দোলনে নারীদের অবদান, তাদের নেতৃত্ব ও সাহসিকতা এবং সমাজে নারীদের বিভিন্ন সংযোজন নিয়ে গভীর আলোচনা হয়। জুলাই-আগস্ট গণঅভ্যুত্থানে নারীরা ছিলেন অগ্রসেনানী, যারা জাতীয় আন্দোলনকে নতুন উচ্চতায় নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন। জুলাই কন্যা ফাউন্ডেশন দীর্ঘদিন ধরে নারীদের ক্ষমতায়ন, তাদের উন্নয়নমূলক কর্মকাণ্ড এবং নারীদের অবদানকে স্বীকৃতি দেওয়ার জন্য বিভিন্ন উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করে আসছে। সাক্ষাৎকালে উভয় প্রতিষ্ঠান আগামী দিনে যৌথভাবে কাজ করার প্রত্যয় ব্যক্ত করে, যাতে নারীদের ভূমিকা আরও প্রসারিত হয় এবং ইতিহাসে তাদের অবদান চিরস্থায়ীভাবে সংরক্ষিত থাকে।
Jannatun Naim Promy, representative of July Konna Foundation, recently had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Kamal Akbar, CEO of July Shaheed Smrity Foundation. During the meeting, they engaged in an in-depth discussion about the contributions, leadership, and courage of women in the July movement, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping the nation’s history. Women played a leading role in the July-August people’s uprising, significantly advancing the movement and leaving an enduring mark on the struggle for justice and equality. July Konna Foundation has long been committed to women’s empowerment, development initiatives, and recognizing their contributions across various social sectors. During the meeting, both organizations expressed their determination to collaborate in the future, aiming to further amplify women’s roles and ensure their historical contributions are preserved for posterity.
